Doing What Comes Naturally
How Exercise Influences Your Life As You Age
Saturday, January 9th
Welcome the New Year with a resolution to stay well and safe. Excel Physical Therapy has generously offered to share professional knowledge and expertise with friends of Penn’s Village:
- A physician specializing in geriatrics, sports medicine and orthopedics will talk about the importance of staying well and safe.
- A physical therapist will share easy and fun ways to implement a home exercise program, including essential exercises to help you stay independent.
- Staff physical therapists will provide each attendee with a personalized complimentary 15-minute medical and orthopedic screening, answering questions such as: How should I move? What’s the best exercise for me? What can I do to improve my balance?
- Extra perks include a re-usable ice pack and snacks.
We will meet at Excel Physical Therapy, 420 Bainbridge Street from 10 am to 11:45 am. Penn’s Village members and volunteers attend free of charge. We would very much appreciate a $5 donation from other guests, payable at the door.
There is street metered parking and public transportation access via Routes 12, 40, 42, 21 and all Market Street busses Eastbound, and Route 57 southbound on 4th Street. Excel Physical Therapy is handicapped accessible.
Please RSVP by calling 215 925 7333 or emailing firstname.lastname@example.org.
