Doin The Zoo
With Docent Arleen Dascola
Friday, November 4th
Each year we make new friends and greet familiar ones, strolling through our ever evolving Zoo. Last year we got our first look at Zoo360 , the first-in-the-world animal travel and exploration system. This year, the perky meerkats have their very own maze with ground-based trails and lookout towers for frolicking and exploring. We will also meet Amani, the new baby gorilla.
Arleen, who is also a guide at the Philadelphia Museum of Art, talks about the historic architecture and beautiful sculpture we pass on our way.
Reservations are limited to 20 and required, so please RSVP early by emailing firstname.lastname@example.org. If emailing is difficult please call 215 925 7333.
We will meet outside of the entrance gate at 9:30 to avoid using remote parking lots; the tour will begin at 10:00 and last approximately one and one half hours. Wear comfortable shoes (you may want sunglasses). There will be a $20 cost for admission to the Zoo payable at the admission gate. The Zoo is handicap accessible.
Hope to see you there.
