  Putting Your Values on Paper

Many of us have put our legal and financial “lives” in order, prepared wills and powers of attorney, developed lists of the material possessions we want passed down to our loved ones.  Fewer of us have found a way to share in a lasting and meaningful way what truly matters in our lives.

Join Penn’s Village for this two-event program, both scheduled to celebrate personal history month in May.  The first event is a game!  Hello is a conversation game, and believe it or not, a fun way to begin a meaningful conversation about living and dying and what matters most.

The second event is a workshop to give you practical guidance as you develop what is often called an ethical or spiritual will.  Both events will be coordinated by Penn’s Village members and volunteers:  Janet Burnham is a trained Hello Game Event Host.  Marianne Waller is a personal historian who helps people tell the stories of their lives.

Both events will be held at 2:00 PM In the Stevens Community Center of the Lutheran Church of the Holy Communion, 2111 Sansom Street.  The handicapped entrance ramp is located on the west side of the building on Van Pelt Street.

Although you are invited to attend either event, we highly recommend that you attend both:
