North Korea is in the news every day and friends of Penn’s Village are fortunate to welcome and learn from Dr. Eugene Park, the Director of the James Joo-Jin Kim Program of Korean Studies at the University of Pennsylvania. Dr. Park is a Korea Foundation Associate Professor of History and his research focus is in the sociopolitical history of early modern and turn of the twentieth-century Korea.

We will meet in the MacColl Room of the First Presbyterian Church, 201 S. 21st Street (entrance on 21st Street). The building is handicapped accessible. Kindly let us know in advance if you need this.

Please RSVP by emailing info@pennsvillage.org.  If emailing is inconvenient, you may also call 215.925.7333.  There is no charge for Penn’s Village members and volunteers. We would appreciate a $5 donation from other guests.  Other guests are welcome to attend three programs before joining and/or volunteering.

Do you have feedback about a recent program? Let us know here.
We would love to hear from you so that we can improve future programs.
