Music and Conversation with Patricia Nemirovsky Alsina


Retired Argentine opera singer Patricia Nemirovsky Alsina was visiting family in Philadelphia when the pandemic hit, stranding her here until her country opens again. While she waits to return to Buenos Aires, she has been a frequent participant in Penn’s Village programs, and offered to give us a taste of some of her favorite music, in Spanish and English. Patricia read and sang “Gracias A La Vida” and “Don’t Cry for Me, Argentina” and spoke about Argentine music and history.
