Join the Philadelphia Orchestra in Commemorating MLK Day
 
The Philadelphia Orchestra is honoring the life and work of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. and celebrating our Philadelphia community with the uniting power of music. This year's performance takes place on Monday, January 17 at 1:30 pm in Verizon Hall at the Kimmel Center. The concert is free, but tickets are required.  The concert will also be broadcast live on WRTI 90.1 FM.  You can find out more here:
 
 

Supporting Victims of the Fairmount Fire

 

As you are undoubtedly aware, a devastating fire broke out in a rowhome in Fairmount on January 5 and claimed the lives of twelve people, including nine children.  Many fundraising efforts are underway to support the victims and our neighbors.  Should you wish to make a donation, here are two options suggested by the Philadelphia Inquirer:

Self-registration is now available on the Penn's Village website!  Please review our Self Registration and register here. You can also register by emailing info@pennsvillage.org or calling 215-925-7333. If you cannot attend, please cancel your reservation to make room for others.
 
Most programs are free of charge to our members and active volunteer partners.  Non-member guests are welcome to attend up to three programs before being asked to join Penn's Village as a member or volunteer partner.
