What Do Young People Know about Us? And What Do We Know About Them?

The Philadelphia LPN chapter is working with Temple University students, Temple Psychology and Neuroscience Professor (and Penn's Village Board Member) Tania Giovannetti, and OLLI members on an intergenerational co-learning experience.  Join them on Thursday, June 16 at 4:00 p.m. for an interactive program to learn about the impact of this program on younger and older adults.

Following brief sharing from class participants, you will have the opportunity to talk and share across generations about what you would like to know about college students and what you’d like to share with them as “seasoned” adults.

Cooking and Restaurant Interest Group Up and Running

If you are a food lover, and a Penn's Village member at the Villager, Neighbor or Partner/Volunteer level, the Cooking and Restaurant Interest Group may be the place for you! The group has plans for an upcoming happy hour at a local restaurant and a potluck lunch at a member's home, with many more ideas in the works.  Some members are interested in cooking; others are more interested in visiting local dining establishments - you can join in for as many or as few as you wish!

If you are interested, and have been vaccinated and had at least one booster, contact Molly Clifford at mollyclifford@pennsvillage.org to sign up.
