Is the Apple Watch a regular watch, or a powerful little iPhone you wear on your wrist?

Have you ever wondered what an Apple Watch actually does? Is it just a fancy $400 watch, or could it be a helpful tool for your daily life? Should you consider owning one, even if you only want to know the time?

This friendly and informative program is here to answer these questions and more. Join Yoav Zohar as he introduces you to the Apple Watch, explains its basic functions, and shares why it might be worth considering — especially for features like fall detection, emergency alerts, and staying connected with family and friends.

You’ll also learn how the Apple Watch works together with other Apple devices, like the iPhone and iPad, and how it uses services like iCloud. Discover simple ways you might use an Apple Watch to make daily life a little easier, safer, and more enjoyable.

Yoav Zohar is a seasoned industrial engineer who came to Michigan from Israel over 35 years ago to help modernize the automotive industry. Today, he dedicates his time to helping people who didn’t grow up with digital devices feel more comfortable and confident using their Apple products. As an Apple Digital Wellness Specialist and owner of YtoZ LLC, Yoav’s mission is to help seniors stay connected and make the most of their technology. He’s also a proud volunteer with Penn’s Village, assisting members with all things Apple.
