During his career as a prosecutor, former Assistant U.S. Attorney Howard Wiener has noticed that people have often found the many parts of jury duty to be aggravating and frustrating. From a potential juror's perspective, jury duty can seem like a long, interminable, and obscure process. Because those called to serve on a jury rarely understand what’s happening behind the scenes over the course of the day, there is seemingly a lot of wasted time. This lecture from Howard Wiener will take people behind the scenes during those long waits and educate/enlighten you about the processes taking place. You’ll leave with a new understanding and appreciation for this civic duty!
