Come together with members of the On Lok House community for a warm, hands-on morning of dumpling-making—a cherished tradition in Chinese culture that brings people together through food and shared activity. Participants will learn how to fold and prepare dumplings while experiencing the joy of gathering across cultures and generations. No cooking experience needed—just a willingness to connect through doing.

This intimate event will welcome 20 Penn’s Village members alongside On Lok residents and senior center members.

A participation fee of $20 with no refunds; no-show payments will be donated to Penn's Village general fund. This fee will help cover materials and serve as a donation to support On Lok’s programming. This event is capped at 20 people.

This program is hosted by On Lok House, a culturally rich and community-centered affordable housing site and community center in Chinatown serving older adults. On Lok is committed to building cross-cultural understanding through arts, food, and intergenerational exchange, and is generously opening its doors for this special experience.
