Happy 4th of July! I hope that you all are poised to have a wonderful holiday weekend with family and friends and plenty of cool treats to keep you comfortable.

Your donation this year is especially important because in addition to continuing to bring you all the wonderful programs and events we hold (wasn’t the Garden party fantastic⁉️), the special interest groups we support and the connections we enable, we are working hard to improve our delivery of services to our members and the quality of engagement our volunteers experience. With the help of some seed money from a new grant, we are hiring a part time Director of Volunteer Engagement (stay tuned for more news shortly). While the grant will help us get started, it is not sufficient to fully fund it and sustain it, so your support in this year’s Summer Fun-Raiser is extremely important to securing the success of this important initiative.
