Until the end of the year, we will be helping our friends at Old Pine Community Center with their food drive. Please bring your donations to the office for events at the MacColl Room or our upcoming volunteer meetups.
Requested items include:
Peanut Butter, Jelly, Bread, Tuna Fish, Cereal, Soup, Tomato Sauce, Pasta, Cooking Essentials, Broth, Gravy, Oil, and Spices.
(Plastic containers preferred over glass. Please check all expiration dates before donating.)

Author Event: Meet Beth Kephart

Beth Kephart is an American author of non-fiction, poetry and young adult fiction for adults and teens. Kephart has written and published over ten books and has received several grants and awards for her writing. In addition to being a National Book Award Finalist for her book A Slant of the Sun: One Child’s Courage, Beth has also written Flow: The Life and Times of Philadelphia's Schuylkill River.
On November 17th Beth will visit Philadelphia City Institute Library to discuss her book Imagining Philadelphia: The Stories of Our City Remembered and Reinvented. Please join us at 5:00 PM.
