Meet Penn’s Village at the Eagle
To Learn All About the Wanamaker Organ
Saturday, October 28th at Noon
Many of us have enjoyed the Organ’s music and beauty over the years, but how much do we know about this Philadelphia icon, built for the 1904 St. Louis World's Fair and purchased by John Wanamaker in 1909 for his new emporium?
We will meet at the now Macy’s Eagle and enjoy the Noon concert together, followed by a tour. The cost of the tour is $20, payable to Macy’s at the event. Following the tour, we will gather at Pain Quotidian. a short walk away to 1425 Walnut Street. We will each pay for our own lunch.
Guests who are not Penn's Village members or volunteers are welcome to attend three programs before joining and/or volunteering. A $5 donation to Penn’s Village from guests will be most appreciated.
Please RSVP by emailing firstname.lastname@example.org. If emailing is inconvenient you may also call 215.925.7333. Please let us know when you register whether you will attend the tour and the lunch or only the tour. Not all parts of the tour are handicapped accessible.
