Words into Pictures: On Seeing What We Read

Wednesday February 28th, 2018 at 10:30

Independent publisher Paul Dry seeks to awaken, delight and educate with an assortment of fiction, non-fiction, new writing and reprints of out of print books. In 1998, after spending seventeen years trading stock options on the floor of the Philadelphia Stock Exchange, Paul established Paul Dry books.

Whether fiction or non-fiction, some writing lures the reader to make images of what is described. At this unique program, Paul will share vivid examples of such writing, and inspire us to share our thoughts and reactions.

We will meet in the MacColl Room of the First Presbyterian Church, 201 S. 21st Street (entrance on 21st Street). The building is handicapped accessible. Kindly let us know in advance if you need this.

Please RSVP by emailinginfo@pennsvillage.org. If emailing is inconvenient you may also call 215.925.7333. There is no charge for Penn’s Village members and volunteers. We would appreciate a $5 donation from other guests. Other guests are welcome to attend three programs before joining and/or volunteering.
