The Future of Newspapers with John Gillespie
Friday February 16th, 2018 @ 2PM
Many of us look forward each morning to reading the newspaper, actual paper, with our cup of tea or coffee. Is this daily ritual threatened by the digital age?
John Gillespie was a reporter and editor for the Philadelphia Evening and Sunday Bulletin for 15 years and is a member of our cousin, East Falls Village. He has generously agreed to share his perspective with friends of Penn’s Village.
We will again meet in one of our favorite places, the Athenaeum at 219 South 6th Street. The handicapped entrance is at the rear of the building.
Please RSVP by emailing firstname.lastname@example.org. If emailing is inconvenient you may also call 215.925.7333. There is no charge for Penn’s Village members and volunteers. We would appreciate a $5 donation from other guests. Other guests are welcome to attend three programs before joining and/or volunteering.
