Wednesday, November 20 2019 • 1:00 PM

Come explore the majestic art and artifacts of the MIddle East housed in the recently refurbished Middle Eastern Gallery of the University of Pennsylvania Museum. A knowledgeable docent will lead the tour providing a history of the gallery and its refurbishment. We will stop at major artifacts to learn their history and significance and how they contributed to the evolution of art and history in the Western World. The length of the tour is 60-90 minutes, depending on questions and speed with which the group passes through the large exhibit. The tour is handicapped accessible.

The Museum is located at 3260 South Street. We will meet at the Group Entrance which is across the street from the parking garage at Convention Avenue. We are cautioned that parking garage is often full. The 40 and the 42 Septa buses stop very nearby.

Email info@pennsvillage.org or call 215-925-7333. If you cannot attend, please cancel your reservation to make room for others.

The Penn Museum fee for the tour and admission is $17 for those under 65 years of age, $16 for those over 65. Penn Museum members pay $5 for the tour. Since we need to pay the Museum in advance, please send a check made out to Penn's Village - 201 So. 21st Street.

Guests are welcome to attend up to three programs before being required to join and/or volunteer.
