PA Voter Information

Nov. 2, 2021 General Election

Let’s start with the basics:
    1. Register to vote deadline is Monday, October 18th, at 5 p.m.
        Go to https://www.pavoterservices.pa.gov to Register.
        Or, call 877-868-3772

      2.  VOTE BY MAIL.  Apply AS SOON AS POSSIBLE! www.voterservices.pa.gov

I recommend you apply by Monday, October 18th.  Final deadline is, however, Oct. 26th.    You may have already applied for all 2021 elections.  In that case, the state will send you an email indicating when to expect your ballot, or you can check your status at wvww.votespamailballotstatus.pa.gov
If you mistakenly apply for a mail-in-ballot when you have already signed up to receive one, it will be declined as a duplicate by the Philadelphia Board of Elections.

Also,  you can call the Phila. board of Elections (215-686-3469) with questions, or go to their excellent website, www.philadelphiavotes.com

3.   Vote in-person at your polling place.  More about that later, but if you would like to volunteer to work at your polling place, please let me know.  It is a very rewarding public service.

There will be more to come in future blogs.  The importance  of this election is that there are candidates running for PA Supreme Court, Superior Court, and Commonwealth Court.  They may end up deciding issues like voter rights, women’s reproductive rights, and re-districting for the next ten years.

Please feel free to email to me any questions or request for help:  Linda Katz, katzykatz@verizon.net.  Full disclosure:  I am a Democratic Committeeperson, but feel free to contact your local Republican Committeeperson.  They will be equally glad to help.  If you send me your Ward and Division number, I will send you contact info.
