Stroke Awareness and Heart Health

The bad news? Stroke (1 in 6) and heart disease (1 in 4) account for many deaths in the U.S. every year.

The good news? You really can do something about it.

Join us for an interactive discussion with Karimma Owens, the Stroke Program Coordinator at Penn Presbyterian. She’ll cover important topics like how to recognize if you or a loved one is having a stroke or heart attack, the risk factors associated with both, and the lifestyle changes you can make to improve your cardiovascular health.

Karimma Owens is a Clinical Nurse Specialist and the Stroke Program Coordinator at Penn Presbyterian Medical Center, where she’s worked for five years.
