Healthcare Options - How To Stay In Charge of You

It is important to be knowledgeable of the health care options you have to be able to stay in charge of your medical care. Sometimes, you may encounter health care professionals who mean well but also financially benefit from their recommendations, or perhaps family members who may be uncomfortable with your choices.

Let's empower ourselves with home health care information. We will discuss and explore some options to ensure that your wishes are known and most importantly, are followed.

Laura L. Barry, MBA, M.Msc, has worked in Palliative and Hospice Care for over 10 years. She facilitates family hospice meetings, and provides much needed education to medical professionals, including medical students at Drexel, Jefferson and the Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine.
