Absinthe

Hallucinogen? Psychotropic? Medicinal? Undrinkable? Absinthe may be the most creatively labeled drink in history.  You’ll learn why, and much more about the fabled beverage in this presentation.  Daniele Easton will cover the rise and fall of the drink that inspired many European artists between 1830 and 1915, before it was banned in most countries at the onset of World War One.  The program will include a tasting, after which you can choose your own absinthe adjective!
