Approximately 26 million people in the U.S. are currently aging alone, mostly Baby Boomers or Generation Xers. The absence of social safety nets such as spouses or close family members can leave individuals feeling vulnerable or unprepared. In this presentation, the author of “Solo Wise: A Roadmap for Fearless Solo Aging,” will tackle the issues that those of us aging alone need to know.

Beverly Bernstein Joie has been a leader in the Aging Life Care community and was the CEO and Co-Founder of Complete Care Strategies for 23 years. She holds a Master’s Degree in Counseling Psychology from Villanova and is a Certified Aging Life Care advanced professional.  Beverly is a winner of a Brava Award, past president of the ALCA Philadelphia chapter, a public speaker, thought leader, and consultant. She is presenting a workshop for the Aging Life Care Association at their national conference on April 19 entitled: “Answering The Call: The Solo Aging Movement.

Beverly’s book will be available for purchase and signing at the program, for $20 each via cash, check or Venmo.
